This tunic is made of cotton fabric and has an appliquéd border. The pattern of the braid is based on find B23 from Birka and is a braided pattern. The round neckline is slit at the center front and can be worn open or closed with a brooch, depending on preference. So-called geren (gussets) are inserted at the side seams from the hips upwards. The center front and center back have a slit at the hem so that the tunic can also be worn for riding.
