Scottish claymore sword with scabbard

Beautifully decorated claymore sword with scabbard. The claymore (Scottish Gaelic claidheamh mòr "great sword") is a common form of sword in Scotland, which was in use from the early 15th century until the 17th century. The claymore was a particularly important weapon in the Scottish wars of independence and the clan battles against the English.
