This stylish Scottish dagger is also known as a "dirk".
The dirk has a long historical tradition and developed in the 17th and 18th centuries from the Scottish short sword (dagger or "ballock knife").
It was an integral part of the Highlanders' costume and was often worn together with the kilt. In addition to its function as a weapon, the dirk was also a status symbol and an expression of clan affiliation.
Typical of the Scottish dirk is its straight blade and the artistically designed handle.
This model impresses with its robust wooden handle, which is comfortable to hold and gives the dagger an authentic, traditional look.
