In the Viking Age, the axe was a weapon used just as frequently as the sword and the spear. This replica of a Viking axe with the exotic cross shape in the axe blade is based on a find from the Swedish island of Gotland.

The axe head is made of EN45 spring steel and has a blunt cutting edge. It is attached to the wooden shaft with rivets
