Is it easy for beginners to apply make-up and stick things?

This depends on personal skill, but the following applies as a general rule: Each of our masks is supplied with a manual which explains how to proceed, step-by-step. In the manuals, we always pay attention to explaining simple things to help people with less experience. In our instructions, however, there are also many tips from the professional make-up artist scene which should ensure success.

Which make-up should I use?

In principle: for one-off use, practically all readily available make-up can be used. However, if you want to use the latex application later, there are only two types of make-up that can be used: water-based make-up and make-up specifically for rubber. The reason for this is as follows: normal makeup contains some substances which attack the latex and leave it brittle after a short time. This information is not given by many manufacturers, so you could spend a lot of money on mask and makeup, and after a few weeks the application has crumbled.

Our make-up is tested on skin as well as on rubber surfaces and can be used safely. We only procure make-up from reputable German manufacturers.

What are half masks?

These are generally masks that cover only half of the face. We include our partial facial masks, which mostly cover only the forehead and a small part under the eyes. Each mask is then authentic, if it is not just well-designed but also individual. The customer can become creative with our masks by colouring their mask with make-up and adapting it to their ideas. A pre-coloured mask is no longer individual.

What are the advantages of half-masks?

They are much more comfortable to wear, since one does not sweat so much underneath them. Unfortunately, latex does not breathe, so a residual transfer remains between the applications. However, for small masks, this is very small. Another advantage is that one can eat, drink and talk unimpeded with our half-masks. The mouth and eyes remain free. In contrast to full masks, half masks also offer the opportunity to use facial expressions. This is to say that you can cut grimaces with a glued-on half-mask, and the mask follows every face-pull. Full masks remain rigid and always have the same expression.
