Two-tone medieval cloak Theves beige-brown

Capes were an integral part of clothing throughout the Middle Ages and were worn by all classes. They were available with or without a hood and in many different lengths, fabrics and cuts. The cloak provided protection and warmth in bad weather. If the cloak did not offer enough protection, a gugel was also worn over the cloak.

This unisex cloak, also known as a cycling cloak or semi-circle cloak, is made of cotton fabric and has a large hood. The slits act as armholes and make the cloak more comfortable to wear, making it suitable for riding, for example

The cloak is fastened with a wooden button. Colour-contrasting details give the coat a special look.

The cotton fabric is not water-repellent, but can be treated with a waterproofing spray to keep out light rain.
